Control system

All of our docking solutions have a Control system to operate the equipment. The Syncrolift control desk is an excellent example of how we optimize Human-Machine interaction, incorporating all necessary equipment and visual cues in a user-friendly way. The control desk is easy to interact with while keeping an eye on the operation.

The control tower is usually located at the shore end of the shiplift and elevated above ground to give a good overview of the docking procedures. 

The operator at the control desk can see the operation on cameras and out of the control tower’s windows, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

In addition to the lifting and lowering platform, some features of our Control system are:

• Distribute shipload on the platform (allows winches to share loads and collectively lift higher loads)
• Safely Locking platform
• Alarms systems ensuring fail-safe operation
• Tilting and listing of the platform in case of ships with uneven keel or uneven ballasting
